The annual IDC conference on IT Security Roadshow 2014 will be held on February 18, and will traditionally host leading specialists in IT and IS, key market players, independent experts and recognized professionals. Dmytro Gadomsky, lawyer, partner of IT & media law practice with Juscutum Attorneys Association, blogger at Komputernoe Obozrenie (Computer Review), will talk about how to protect against and prevent hacker attacks.
Recent events in Ukraine confirmed that business security issues and maintenance of its smooth operation have become perhaps the most critical tasks on today’s list of IT departments and require close attention of information security (IS) experts. Moreover, while formerly IT security service was more involved in solving technical and engineering problems, now chief security officers act as managers who ought to both make immediate decisions to protect business and prove the efficiency of measures taken and the IS system as a whole to business leadership.
The event will be supported by Check Point Software Technologies, HP, Kaspersky Lab, Cyberoam, involving independent experts of the Ukrainian office of ISACA and noncommercial organization UISG. The conference program shall also include reports on the latest technological developments of vendors, presentations from local companies on projects completed, speeches from special guests and analysts.
